Storyboard for my music video

 The first scene-the camera is at a low level at someone's feet at a Walmart. It might be a Target but the first scene is any type of store.


The second scene- Then someone is picking out some party items in the specific aisle. It includes birthday hats, soda, decorations,, and more.


The third scene- Now the camera is zoomed up on the items as the person is picking them out on the shelf. She picks out the cake, party hats, and balloons.


The fourth scene-  Then someone goes in the card aisle and pics at a birthday card. The camera is focused on the card shelfs and all you see is the hand reaching to the card. 


The fifth scene- Then someone goes to the freezer aisle and gets ice cream. This time the camera is catching the person and the freezer.


The sixth scene- This is where the person is paying all the items that are being bought. The items include all the birthday party decorations and necessities.


The seventh scene- This is where two or more people are walking or driving to the park. The park is a second scene but we'll have to pick a form of transportation.


The eighth scene- People are going to be decorating the bench and the table in the park with balloons streamers and having a cake. Everyone is basically running around.


The nineth scene- Someone is calling the person that has a birthday to come to the park and making up some kind of excuse to come.


The tenth scene-Then people are waiting around for the person to arrive staring in anticipation.


The eleventh scene- The person finally arrives and they surprise her and she is shocked.


The twelfth scene- Then they all party and have a good time and that is the closing scene at the park.

 One thing that 12 Monkeys does is make it seem very dull on purpose. The short film uses a narrator with a very monotone voice to show this off. Also, the movie uses still images and adds voiceovers or other sounds to them after. This once again achieves the same goal, being to make the film detached. Le Jetee uses certain transitions to acquire a "dream-like ambiance" which helps to contrast the clean shots when characters are conversing. The film also uses audio to great effect and adds it a lot of important and disturbing imagery to amplify the visuals. An example used for this is the audio of a heart beating for a dramatic and intense scene. This helps the audience feel the intensity of the pictures being shown as if their own heart was racing. Another example of this is a slick and romantic score for a positive effect on the audience, once again enhancing the images. Editing for Short Film Begins

 Today we will be starting editing for the short film. Editing begins with software to make changes to the scenes we shot. While I am not experienced in editing, I can still give advice and recommendations on edits. Also, I can discuss what I want to see being edited in the film. Besides that, my group did the editing itself. Due to this, I will be discussing what they did and how I am involved. First of all, my groupmates who edited have experience in editing. This was the reason why they edited the film rather than me. Also, they have experience in different software for editing. Despite this, we ended up staying primarily with iMovie. I suggested iMovie for many reasons. The main reason to use iMovie is that it's free, allowing it to be an affordable option for all. It's also accessible on all devices. iMovie can be found on laptops, phones, and tablets. Production For My Short Film Continues

I'm back to filming! This time we continued filming in the mall. It was the same location as last time as we were familiar with it already. We needed to be more careful with the scheduling of our filming this time. The filming location was a mall but unfortunately, it closed before we could get further into production. This filming day was different as we got to continue and further develop our short film. Before leaving my house, I checked the hours of the mall closing time to ensure the same mistake would not be repeated twice. I set a specific time for everyone to arrive at the location to film but we all arrived a bit later than intended. Luckily, this was barely a setback for us and we started right away. Because we chose to film on a weekday after school, the mall didn't have as many people as it would've on another day.
