Park Birthday Blog

The second part of filming was on Wednesday December 1st. This was the day after my group and I filmed part one in target. I decided to do the filming on consecutive days so we could get it out of the way quickly. Immediately after school I met up with one of my group mates so that we could walk together to our location. The first place I had to go to was my grandmas house to pick up the cake I bought the day before. After picking up the cake my group mate and I walked to the park where we would begin filming. After we waited and looked over everything my other group member arrived and we were ready to set up. We had many different ideas however most didn’t work given our location, but my group decided to go to a nearby store and buy more things to improve our situation. I put decorations on the table and also plates and napkins. One problem we had was that we had purchased balloons but had nothing to tie it to. One of my group mates went and tried to buy someone to tie the balloons to but couldn’t find anything. After all of the set up was finished one of my group mates asked a stranger if her and her child would like to be in the video. The stranger agreed and then she and her child were added to the video with her permission. Once again I was an actor for the video and my group decided to all wear party hats for the video. For the filming I sung a version of happy birthday to go along with the song. One part I messed up was when I was meant to pop confetti as it was more difficult than I thought. By far my favorite part of the filming was the end when my group all ate the cake we bought. When filming was over the lady we filmed asked if she could see our final video when we were done. After this I went home and dropped off one of my friends to their house. Overall my group had a great filming experience.
